The inaugural session, scheduled for January 29, 2025, at 5 PM PST, will feature renowned UCSF pediatric hand and reconstructive microsurgeon Dr. Chau Tai, who will present "Crazy Cases: Examples and Management of Difficult Pediatric Trauma Injuries."

Dr. Tai is a Division Chief at the University of California San Francisco Children's Hospital of Oakland. With a medical degree from Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a residency at Cooper University Hospital, and a fellowship in Hand Surgery at Washington University, Dr. Tai is a leader in her field. Her research focuses on advancing early diagnoses and treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome in pediatric patients with mucopolysaccharidoses.
