At PSTM, the Garnes Society advances its mission to promote diversity, mentorship, and excellence in plastic and reconstructive surgery. From supporting underrepresented students with travel scholarships to fundraising for the Ferdinand Ofodile Diversity Lecture, ALGS is dedicated to fostering equity and inclusion.

Garnes Society PSTM Travel Scholarships
The Garnes Society PSTM Travel Scholarships support underrepresented medical students and residents, providing financial assistance to attend Plastic Surgery The Meeting. This year's six scholarships, open to Garnes Society members, help offset costs for travel, lodging, and registration, ensuring greater access to networking, mentorship, and professional development.
Applications for the 2025 scholarships closed on Sept. 2, 2025—recipients will be announced soon!
